How do we even begin talking about one of the most iconic animated films of all time?

Ever wondered what would your toys be doing in your absence? What if they have a life and world of their own operating around you? And if all of it is true, what would be the driving force behind their hopes, fear and actions? 1995 Toy Story has the answers!

With an ensemble of famous characters such as Tom Hank's Woody, Tim Allen's Buzz Lightyear, Don Rickles' Mr. Potato Head, Jim Varney's Slinky Dog, Annie Potts' Bo, Wallace Shawn's Rex and Erik von Detten's Sid, the filmmakers here have done a remarkable job in putting together a solid screenplay that keeps you on your edge from start to finish! The concept alone with its surprisingly navigable plot (that too, with excellence!) never fail to amaze fans of cinema till this very day!

The story is about Woody aka Andy's (voiced by John Morris) favourite toy since kindergarten. He's very well in-charge of every child's play Andy owns and from the get-go, we know he is in command here. But his world turns upside down when Buzz Lightyear enters as the new present for Andy's birthday. Buzz Lightyear has Andy's full attention now as Woody is jealous of the fact! Hereon after, we have a huge drama incoming! Woody's plan to chuck Buzz behind a furniture goes wrong and he has to rectify what has been done!

Toys getting panic when guests arrive with gifts, Buzz and Woody losing Andy in a gas station, Woody being blamed and crucified for his mistake, soldiers live-reporting Andy's gift-opening occasion, Sid capturing Woody and Buzz, drunken Mrs. Nesbit, dysfunctional toys teaming up to scare Sid plus Woody breaking the rule with Sid are examples of astounding scenes!

Creative use of cuss words and deadlines were simply fantastic! While our protagonist Woody learns how to live with a new friend, Buzz Lightyear discovers the truth about him being a toy. Both of them realizing they're Andy's plaything and helping each other out to survive in the action-packed climax was amazing! The very toy Woody utilized to scheme against Buzz was used to save him! Talk about the power of strong writing.

Woody: "Buzz, you're flying!"

Buzz: "This isn't flying. This is falling with style."

Woody: "To infinity and beyond!"
