TERRIFIC

THIS MOTION PICTURE IS OFFICIALLY AN AFFILIATE OF THE FILMMAKING PARAGONS.

It's freaking exciting to revisit this world! Just watching Ralph (voiced by John C. Reilly) and Vanellope (voiced by Sarah Silverman) spending time with each other gives us so much joy! The former is happy and content with the life he has, whilst the latter yearns for new unpredictability. Call of Adventure comes as the arrival of internet, and little did these two know the journey ahead will evolve their heartwarming friendship forever!

Ralph Breaks the Internet uses all the familiar yet fundamental tools of screenwriting and filmmaking to cook an entirely fresh meal! Plot and characters had clear motivations. Want and Need conflicted head-to-head. Mission in hand was clear. And most importantly, character arcs of the two leads were beautifully crafted. Ralph learnt how to let go by prioritizing his friend’s happiness and Vanellope obtained the unpredictability she wanted.

No one beats Disney when it comes to creativity. Just, no one! User avatar incarnations, Google search bar assistant, Twitter birds, Pinterest's pin, upgrades as holidays, the name JP Spamley as clickbait ad employee, bricky-moving gaming avatars, eBay's bidding system and reminder companion were few examples of the many! Don't even get us started on Oh My Disney page, where you meet Marvel, Star Wars or even late Stan Lee! Seeing Disney Princesses in shirts and pants was a sight we never knew we needed! Before we forget, Shank (voiced by Gal Gadot) and her crew were great additions to this franchise!

Disney is really good at spoofing or ridiculing themselves for their clichés and tropes, only to later top themselves at it by the very similar clichés and tropes! Such was the Slaughter Race universe song! While all these were extremely entertaining to watch, Disney Princesses saving Ralph was an unnecessarily shoehorned moment to please the ongoing SJW fad post 2010s. If it fits within the film's context, by all means, do it. Otherwise, it merely shows desperation. Please do not use animated motion pictures to force your stance on these ideologies down our throats, Disney!

Ending exactly like how it began, the sequel to Wreck-it Ralph was heartbreaking as much as it was ferociously entertaining and inspiring! Let's wait and see where the next magical voyage of Ralph and Vanellope will take us to!
