Quantum of Solace is the sequel to the critically acclaimed Casino Royale, which sadly turned out to be one of the blandest movie experiences you'll ever have!
Name anything that's an ingredient to cook a perfect shitstorm for a motion picture, Quantum of Solace will likely have it. The plot is incredibly run-of-the-mill, loaded with forgettable villains. There isn't any energy to the film, made worse by the incompatible score choices. Slow-mo stylistic choices do not add any value to the product, as all it does is retract viewers from the events that should be on their focus.
The action sequences are filmed poorly! You could tell the choreography has some amazing ideas, such as the slings and pivots in an Italian cathedral, but the making is absolutely atrocious. Terrible shaky cams and headache-inducing editing render all this a mess!
